Diamond Hill Grassroots Media was founded by Derek and Ashley Ayala, husband and wife, to give everyday grassroots voices the platform and exposure they deserve. Our roots are in Fort Worth; today we work with clients in most states.
Why “Diamond Hill”?
Diamond Hill is named after Derek's grandfather, Santos “Frank” Ayala, who ran Diamond Hill Upholstery in Fort Worth for over 30 years with his hands and his integrity. His business fostered the values of hard work and faith, and that legacy inspires every interaction, campaign and client relationship at the company.

From sports media to the campaign trail

Derek Ayala
Derek is eternally grateful to be saved by Jesus Christ. He became born again in November 2013, and he and his wife Ashley are true partners in faith, walking hand in hand with integrity, compassion and courage.
From his early work in sports media and storytelling to his hands-on experience as a campaign manager helping grassroots candidates break through, Derek has always been driven to give everyday voices the platform and exposure they deserve.
Every campaign, story and connection he builds reflects his belief: with God first, we can build a stronger United States and preserve the values we hold dear for generations to come.
Ashley Ayala
Ashley's story begins in a small New England town near the Canadian border, where she developed a deep appreciation for close-knit communities and simple living. In 2012 she lost her mother, a loss that shaped her resilience and strengthened her faith.
With courage and conviction, she moved to Texas in pursuit of a life rooted in purpose, opportunity and personal growth. She loves country living, coffee, time with her husband and caring for her animals.
Driven by a heart to serve, Ashley is committed to being a voice for those who feel unheard. She is deeply invested in her clients' success and in building meaningful grassroots connections that strengthen communities from the ground up.

God showed Derek and Ashley this verse as the mission for Diamond Hill Grassroots Media. This company is not about them. It's about sharpening other patriot voices. Through real media exposure and strategic support, they help everyday grassroots candidates and leaders sharpen one another, advance their goals and get their voices heard.

Derek and Ashley's household is rooted deeply in the Gospel, with Jesus Christ guiding every step they take. Since their paths came together in 2016, they have built a life and a marriage centered on Christ, love, family and the simple joys that make life rich.
