About our CEO Derek Ayala
Derek is eternally grateful to be saved by Jesus Christ. He became born again in November of 2013, a moment that completely transformed his life and set him on a new path guided by faith. He and his wife Ashley are true partners in faith, walking hand-in-hand with integrity, compassion, and courage. Together, their household is rooted deeply in the Gospel, with Christ at the center of every decision they make.
The heart of Derek’s service comes from strong family bonds and the deep desire to build a future anchored on faith and love. This same commitment drives everything he does at Diamond Hill Grassroots Media.
From his early work in sports media and storytelling to his hands-on experience as a campaign manager helping grassroots conservatives break through, Derek has always been driven to give everyday voices the platform and exposure they deserve. Every campaign, story, and connection he builds is a testimony to his belief: with God first, we can build a stronger United States and preserve the values we hold dear for generations to come.
About our COO Ashley Ayala
Ashley Ayala’s story begins in a small town in New England, near the Canadian border, where she developed a deep appreciation for close-knit communities and simple living. In 2012, she experienced the life-altering loss of her mother, a moment that shaped her resilience and strengthened her faith. As time went on, Ashley recognized that New England no longer aligned with her values or the vision she had for her future. With courage and conviction, she made the decision to relocate to Texas in pursuit of a better life—one rooted in purpose, opportunity, and personal growth.
Ashley is passionate about country living and cherishes the charm of small-town life. She enjoys coffee, time with her husband, and caring for her beloved animals. Above all, she is a devoted Christian, and her faith serves as the foundation for everything she does.
Driven by a heart to serve, Ashley is committed to helping others by being a voice for those who feel unheard and an advocate for those in need. She is deeply invested in the success of her clients and is dedicated to supporting them as they grow and achieve their goals. Her work is centered on building meaningful, grassroots connections, with the goal of uplifting individuals and strengthening communities from the ground up.
Faith and Family
Derek and Ashley are true partners in faith and life, walking their path together with integrity, compassion, and courage. Their household values are rooted deeply in the Gospel, with Jesus Christ guiding every step they take. Their paths came together in 2016 when Ashley moved to Texas. Since then, they have built a life and a marriage centered on Christ, love, family, and the simple joys that make life rich.
Together, they founded Diamond Hill Grassroots Media to serve everyday grassroots conservatives — candidates, business owners, influencers, school board warriors, and Texas patriots — who are fighting to make their voices heard.
The heart of their service lies in strong family bonds and the deep drive to build a future anchored on faith and love. Every campaign, story, and network they create is a testimony to their belief: with God, we build a stronger United States and preserve the values we hold dear for generations to come.
Scripture Highlight
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” — Proverbs 27:17 (KJV)
God showed Derek and Ashley this verse as the clear mission for Diamond Hill Grassroots Media. This company is not about them — it’s about sharpening other patriot voices. Through real media exposure and strategic support, they help everyday grassroots conservatives, candidates, and leaders sharpen one another, advance their goals, and get their voices heard. Everything they do is for God’s glory and for the people who need a platform the most.
The Backstory: Diamond Hill Grassroot Media
In Derek’s twenties, he worked in sports media, learning the ropes of storytelling and community outreach. Worked as a campaign manager and saw that everyday grassroots had a hard time getting exposure, he strives to give the true grassroots a voice.
Diamond Hill is named after his grandfather, Santos “Frank” Ayala, whose business, Diamond Hill Upholstery, fostered values of hard work and faith for over 30 years. That legacy inspires every interaction, campaign, and client relationship at the company.
Derek's and Ashley's vision is to make Diamond Hill national—empowering conservatives state by state with real media, open networks, and the truth. No PACs, no spin. Just service, just faith.
